Transportation is a support service that OIC provides to eligible students on a limited, case-by-case basis. We provide transportation to help eliminate barriers to a student’s participation in OIC programs. Typical types of transportation support are bus passes, taxi cab vouchers, or a ride in the OIC van.
We give priority for transportation services to students who:
• participate in the family literacy program;
• attend classes at the OIC main site;
• do not have access to public transportation; and
• have completed the orientation process.
Not every OIC student is eligible for transportation services, and we can’t guarantee that every student who requests transportation service will receive it. We offer transportation services to students most in need, as determined by OIC staff.
If you need transportation services, see your teacher or counselor.
