About Harrisburg

In Harrisburg, your group will engage with the community in a variety of ways. Join local community development efforts working to improve the life of its residents. You will have the opportunity to serve with local children’s programs, community gardens and senior care facilities. Your group will also assist local neighborhood associations with small home repair, community beautification and cleanup projects. In the evenings, visit Hershey’s Chocolate World for a chocolate tour, attend a youth service at a local church and share a meal with friends you’ll make during the week. YouthWorks has partnered with this community since 2010.

Serving in Harrisburg

  • Partner with local organizations to meet ongoing needs in the community.
