Tri-County OIC’s Pathway Home Program is designed to build a seamless bridge between pre-release and post-release services, ensuring that justice-involved individuals have the support, training, and resources they need to successfully reintegrate into the Harrisburg and greater Dauphin County community following incarceration.
Through strong partnerships with Pennsylvania State Correctional Institutions, Dauphin County Prison, Dauphin County Work Release, and other local correctional facilities, Tri-County OIC works closely with individuals preparing to return home.
Eligible participants are individuals scheduled to return to the Harrisburg area within 20 to 270 days (approximately 3 weeks to 9 months). Upon enrollment, each participant is matched with a dedicated Tri-County OIC case manager who provides:
Supportive counseling
Transition planning
Pre-releasse skills training
Ongoing post-release case management
The program also provides access to training opportunities prior to release, ensuring participants are workforce-ready and equipped to achieve lasting success.
Tri-County OIC’s Pathway Home 5 initiative is made possible through generous funding from the U.S. Department of Labor, with a total award of $4 million to support reentry efforts across our community.
