Industrial Truck (Forklift) Training
Forklift classes for students who completed the pre-requisites and are scheduled for hands on training at Dauphin County Technical School. Training is from 10 am until 2 pm.

Khadiyjah Muhammad, Talent Acquisition Coordinator for FedEx Ground will be visiting with OIC on March 12, 2020, March 26, 2020, April 16, 2020 and April 30, 2020 from 8:30 am – 2: 00 pm. to talk about the benefits and opportunities that FedEx offers. Industrial Truck (Forklift) Certification
These classes are prerequisites to become eligible for OIC-sponsored forklift certification classes at Dauphin County Technical School, Cumberland County Technical School, or York Technical Institute. Students are required to complete a two-day pre-vocational class at OIC. During this class you will learn the fundamentals of operating a basic sit down industrial truck. If you compete this course successfully, you will be eligible to attend a one or two day classroom/skills training session with one of our vocational providers. You will be issued a certificate of completion and a forklift operator’s card.

PA Commuter Services – Assisting With Transportation
Commuter Services is a professionally staffed organization funded by federal Congestion Mitigation & Air Quality funds. Through our free services, we work to reduce traffic congestion by helping commuters find alternatives, other than driving alone, and by reaching out to employers so they can help their workforce find those options. Using alternatives also helps improve air quality, and fewer cars in rush hour can mean safer highways, too.
